The hardware included in this kit has been designed to work with multiple years of General Motors and Ford Trucks. If your vehicle has existing anchor mounting points installed you may not need all of the provided hardware.

NOTE: This is an installation guide only, designed to aide you during the process of installing your new seat belts. Some installations may not be covered therefore it will be the installers responsibility to determine the safest mounting location.

Step 1 Remove old seatbelts. Clean any debris and rust out of threaded holes with a wire brush or thread chaser. If necessary, remove the front seats making sure to set the mounting bolts aside Step 2 First you will need to determine the best location to create the shoulder belt mount. It is easier to do if You have a helper but can be done alone as shown in the photo to the left by holding the belt in the position it will be worn in. You will need to install the mount slightly above your shoulder height but not so high that you create an awkward angle against the neck of the occupant. Step 3 Once you’ve marked the location for the shoulder mount you can drill a hole making sure you don’t go through the exterior panel. Use of a limiter on your drill is recommended. You may also want to remove the interior trim panel to access the support panel you’ll be installing the shoulder mount plate to. Step 4 Next you will need to attached the mounting plate to a long stick, welding rod or similar item to slide the plate behind the support panel then install a bolt in the large hole to hold the plate in position so you can drill the two smaller hole for the rivets. Step 5 Install the plate. Step 6 Install the rivets. You can now remove the bolt used to hold the plate in place. Step 7 Next you will need to determine the best place to mount the retractor. The location should be directly below the shoulder mount. The retractor can be slightly forward or behind the shoulder mount if necessary. Always look the vehicle for wiring harnesses, fuel lines, brake lines, etc prior to drilling. Step 8 After drilling the hole you will install the 90 degree bracket to the floor then the retractor. Step 9 Install the retractor mounting hardware as shown in the photo to the right. Step 10 Once installed the black anchor should be Installed pointing towards the front of the vehicle. The photo shows what the drivers side would look like. You can alter the angle based on your seat cushion angle as needed. Step 11 Now you can bolt in the shoulder loop using the provided hardware as shown. Step 12 When finished the retractor side should look like the photo to the right. Step 13 Now you are ready to install the buckles. To determine the best location for the buckles you will want the seat(s) installed. A bench seat will be fitted best if you move the seat all the way forward then install the buckle through the opening between the seat cushion and back rest with the buckle exposed but close to the back of the seat. Mark where the anchor falls then check under the vehicle for clearance prior to drilling. Bucket seats will follow the same procedure but only require the buckle end to be placed on the floor in the desired location with the 90 degree angle bracket in place.
