Our lap belts are available in 60, 74, or 90 inch lengths. The length you need will be determined by a number of factors including the location of mounting points in your vehicle, height and position of seat, style of seat, and intended user.

• To measure a lap belt, first adjust your current lap seat belt to a comfortable length and position. If your car currently does not have seat belts you can substitute a piece of rope where a seat belt would normally mount and use it as a reference for measurements.
• Once you have found a comfortable length, measure the stationary (A) buckle side and the adjustable (B) tongue side of your seat belt.
• Once you have your measurements, combine the lengths and compare against our seat belt measurements. Remember, seatbelts can always be adjusted down in length but cannot be adjusted longer.
• Check if new seat belt buckle and clip will be long enough to be accessible at the sides of your seat. For example, if your current seat belt buckle sits 30 inches from the floor then a 60 inch seat belt with a 24 inch buckle will not be long enough for your application.
• Adjustable lap belt end fittings should be mounted flat parallel to the floor or center tunnel. Make sure seat belt webbing will not rub against any interior components or seat frame.
• If needed, we can always special order custom length seat belts for application that require off-set buckles.
